Who You Talk To
When you reach out through Sinkconsequences Tree Service, you end up speaking with an independent tree removal provider in your area. It is a local business, not a call center that does the work. The provider you speak with is the one who looks at your tree, gives the quote and does the job if you hire them.
What Happens on the First Call
Expect a friendly, practical chat. The provider will likely ask:
- Where the tree is and how big it looks.
- Whether it has fallen, split or started to lean.
- What it is near, such as a roof, fence, pool cage or power line.
- Whether you also want stump grinding or storm tree clearance.
They may ask you to send photos. They may suggest a visit to see the tree in person. Hours and scheduling vary by provider, so ask what works.
What to Ask a Provider
It is fine to ask plenty of questions. Here are a few good ones:
- Are you licensed and insured? Can you show proof?
- Will you give me a written quote before work starts?
- What is included: cutting, hauling, cleanup, stump grinding?
- Does the tree need a permit where I live?
- How will you protect my roof, lawn and fence?
- What happens if the plan changes once work begins?
Write the answers down. Compare them with a second provider if you like.
You Are in Control
Talking to a provider does not lock you into anything. You can ask questions, think it over and say no. Nobody here will push you toward a bigger job than you need. If a provider suggests trimming instead of removal, that may be worth hearing out.
For urgent trouble, such as a tree resting on a roof, keep everyone away from the area and stay clear of downed power lines. Then ask a provider what the safe next step is.
